Apparently you don’t just have to have your steampunk plutocrat dreams in Rolls Royce flavour: Lunaz will do you an S2 or s3 Bentley too. Which makes sense si nc e the Phanto m V, Cloud II, and S series Bentleys were all off a common platform (not that Rolls Royce would have known or cared what a platform was) .

According to their website you can have any iteration from 1955-66 including coupe and drophead. I’ll have mine in S2 Continental 2 door , thanks.

I’m not so keen on that. The ICE engine is a core part of the experience in any sportscar and going EV cha n ges that dramatically. Whereas for a luxobarge the whole point of the powert rain is silent, torquey and wafty: EV- ifying it is just taking that same character and turning it up to 11.

Couldn’t agree with you more. An electric Mk10 (or Series XJ) is the thinking man’s Model S. Can’t see anyone doing it commercially though - they’re not worth enough to justify the upgrade cost.

Well the others are worth too much! I think it’s perfect, I like them and I can find used ones for $ 12k, I just found one in CA for that much.
